About Dogography

Charlotte's journey into photography began during her time in the Creative and Performing Arts program at her high school. She then pursued a minor in Photojournalism and gained experience working as an assistant with professional photographers before switching her focus to Animal Science in college.

As technology advanced, Charlotte adapted her skills to match, starting with black and white film photography and development before transitioning to digital cameras. She has worked with various Nikon models such as the D80, D7200, and D780, eventually moving to a Nikon Mirrorless system with her go-to camera being the professional-grade Nikon Z8.

When it comes to lenses, Charlotte prefers prime options, particularly her 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm portrait lenses. For events and shows, she will opt for the 70-200mm lens to capture the action. Through Dogography, Charlotte combines her love for photography and dogs, creating stunning images that capture the essence of man's best friend.
